Monster Holiday Drive
Be Their Voice has been proud to support Monster Elf Honey in the I'm Not A Monster Holiday Drive.
The Monster Holiday Drive campaign is a nationwide shelter drive benefiting homeless pets waiting in shelters and temporary boarding facilities. “Monster” Elf Honey, from Northampton PA was one of 59 dogs chosen to represent the group in their national effort called the Monster Holiday Drive. The pit bull mix was rescued from the New York City Animal Care & Control facility moments before scheduled for euthanasia in 2012 and quickly became an advocate for abandoned senior pets and those with terminal conditions. For the past five years, we've raised over $42,000 collectively in donated food, toys, and supplies for local Lehigh Valley shelters and homeless animals. Sadly, Honey lost her battle with cancer in November of 2017. We continue the drive in her memory by collecting for The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, The Lehigh County Humane Society, and Peaceable Kingdom.
